The Center for Italian Studies is pleased to announce the receipt of a gift--the Jay A. and Sara L. Sellick Endowment for Excellence in Italian Studies, in memory of John A. ('53) and Juli Ann Sellick--which will be used to support undergraduate, graduate student, and faculty research and travel to Italy and the Rome Global Gateway. The donor, a 1987 University graduate and second-generation Italian-American, was inspired by a profound visit to his ancestral homeland and a desire to keep the Italian language and culture alive for future generations.
