The Center for Italian Studies is pleased to be a co-sponsor of the Symposium Cumanum 2023, organized by Professors Luca Grillo and Sergio Casali. This year's symposium will explore the diverse ways in which the Roman Republic's experience can shape and transform our understanding of Virgil. The symposium will take place at the Villa Vergiliana, Cuma-Bacoli, Italy from June 27 to July 1.
