As part of the fourth edition of The Three Crowns: Texts and Contexts of Medieval Italy series, the Center for Italian Studies is delighted to host a lunchtime book presentation featuring Bernhard Huss's and Federica Pich's Petrarchism, paratexts, pictures: Petrarca e la costruzione di comunità culturali nel Rinascimento, and Francesca Florimbii's Chiose e annotazioni ai Trionfi di Petrarca di Carducci.
The event will take place at Notre Dame's Rome Global Gateway. Discussants include Luca Lombardo (Bergamo), Paolo Rigo (Roma Tre), and Paola Vecchi Galli (Bologna).
