Application: Rome Seminar 2016

Junior faculty and advanced graduate students are invited to apply. Knowledge of Italian or Latin, while helpful, is not required. Tuition is $1,250, a below-cost figure made possible by a University of Notre Dame subsidy, but a number of fee waivers will be available. Participants are responsible for their own travel, room, and board. Applicants are encouraged to seek funding for tuition and travel from their home institutions. Scholarships may be available.

  • A statement of no more than 500 words describing current scholarly interests and plans and how the Rome Seminar might further those interests and plans.
  • A curriculum vitae. Please specify contact details, current position, and institutional affiliation.
  • Graduate students should also include the names and contact information of two academic references.
