Notre Dame offers numerous grants for overseas travel.
- Thanks to a generous gift from the Albert Ravarino family, the Italian Studies Program is pleased to announce an annual competition for undergraduate and graduate Ravarino Travel Grants in support of summer research and foreign study in Italy.
The Peter D'Agostino Research Travel Grant is offered in conjunction with the Cushwa Center for the Study of American Catholicism to facilitate the study of the American past from an international perspective. The award, offered in honor of the late Peter D’Agostino, supports research in Roman archives for a significant publication project on U.S. Catholic history.
- The Center for the Study of Languages & Cultures’ annual Summer Language Abroad (SLA) Grant Program provides support to individual proposals for summer foreign language study abroad—or, when appropriate, intensive domestic language study—via awards of up to $5,500.
- The Nanovic Institute for European Studies offers travel grants to undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty.
