The Center for Italian Studies is pleased to announce a lecture by Valentina Mele titled: "Dante and Cavalcanti: The Making of a Lyric Voice."

Valentina Mele, Affiliate of the Center for Italian Studies at Notre Dame, is Irish Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at University College Cork and she is an official member of the Center for Dante Studies in Ireland. She completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge, after spending periods at the universities of Warwick, Oxford, and Notre Dame.
