Primo Levi Workshop: Lina Insana

Lina Insana, Associate Professor of Italian at the University of Pittsburgh, will lead a workshop at 2pm in Special Collections with Notre Dame graduate students who are interested in pursuing research on Primo Levi. To register, contact Vittorio Montemaggi:

Professor Insana, whose research interests include Holocaust literature and film; Sicilian literature; Italian American literature; literature of Fascism and resistance; Italian detective fiction; and images of southern Italy in European literature, has recently published a book entitled Arduous Tasks: Primo Levi, Translation, and the Transmission of Holocaust Testimony (Toronto: U of Toronto Press, 2009).
