Live City Blues: an Italian musical duo specializing in international blues, funk, and folk music

Thursday, April 6th at 6:30pm in Carey Auditorium, Hesburgh Library

You are invited to an evening of live music provided by LiveCityBlues, Sandro Fiume and Daniele Chiaramida, who will play songs in all Romance Languages on acoustic and electric guitar!

Sandro Fiume

Sandro Fiume is well known on the Roman music scene for his versatility as an artist. He plays the acoustic guitar, having studied under Adriano Viterbini (BSBE), in addition to the drums, bass, and trumpet. Fiume has performed funk, blues, and American country / folk music in the US, Asia and across Europe.

Daniele Chiaramida

Daniele Chiaramida is a singer-songwriter, actor and accomplished musician. He plays the piano, harmonica, and acoustic and classical guitar. He specializes in a vast repertoire of songs from the Italian singer-songwriters from the 60’s and 70’s, such as DeAndré and Battisti. After graduating from the University of Bologna with a degree in film (DAMS), Chiaramida has traveled throughout Europe to perform his music. He currently lives in Rome where he is active in local theater and music projects including “Officine Pasolini”, a project financed by the European Union to promote the production and distribution of original music.
