The Catholic Universities Partnership, a network of European Catholic universities and the University of Notre Dame, will convene for their annual meeting in Rome, Italy on September 26-27. The conference “Sources of the Civic: Catholic Higher Education and Democracy in Europe” will address competing conceptions of civic education and the unique role that Catholic universities play in cultivating the virtues, values, and responsibilities central to the healthy exercises of civic life.
