"Revisiting the Roman Forum: from Pen to Pixel"

April 3-4 at Notre Dame's Rome Center

The exhibit, entitled "Revisiting the Roman Forum: from Pen to Pixel," will inaugurate at the Curia Iulia in the Roman Forum April 2 at 4:30pm and on April 3-4 in Notre Dame's Rome Center at an international symposium, supported by the Nanovic Institute and organized by the Dharma group of the School of Architecture, entitled "The Digital Future of World Heritage."

The exhibit is the result of a four year collaboration between the Soprintendenza Speciale dei Beni Archeologici di Roma the Dharma group in the School of Architecture and will feature 19th c. documentation from the Giacomo Boni archive of the Soprintendenza and the digital scans, drawings and watercolors of the Dharma students and faculty of Notre Dame. Giovanna Lenzi-Sandusky is co-curator of the exhibit helping to sustain the dialogue with the Soprintendenza and the Ministero dei Beni Culturali.
