Lecture: "A Comparative Analysis of Letarouilly's Edifices de Rome Moderne - Then and Now"

Kevin Hinders (B.Arch ’83), professor at the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, will give a lecture in conjunction with his current exhibit in the Bond Hall Gallery.

The exhibit is on display August 24 through September 18. Featuring reproductions of engravings and original photographs, the exhibit documents buildings of Renaissance and Baroque Rome as depicted by Paul Letarouilly in his three volume “Edifices de Rome Moderne.” Using digital photography, Hinders has documented 130 of the 163 perspective views shown in Letarouilly’s work.
