Prof. Areli Marina will be presenting a talk titled "Splendid Warlords and the Arts of Dominion in Medieval Italy" on Monday, Nov. 16 at 5pm in room 200 of Riley Hall. Her book, The Italian Piazza Transformed: Parma in the Communal Age (Penn State, 2011) won the Howard A. Marraro Book Prize from the American Catholic Historical Association for the most distinguished book on Italian history.
